Keep in mind that if you aren't seen on the first 2 pages of any of the above searches, you basically don't exist! Unfortunately, almost no one goes beyond page 2 in any search engine.
3 tips to increase your bar’s "searchability"
Post your upcoming events on your website, social media, and other local event pages and calendars. This should be updated every day and should include your special events, as well as your daily specials.
Best [insert here] in town! What is your bar known for? Let’s say you have the best wings in town…does your bar come up in a search for wings? What can you change to make sure your bar is on the top of that list?
Pictures speak louder than words, so double check to make sure that you have a decent variety of pictures posted on your website, Yelp, Google, and Facebook. People like to see what type of menu items you offer and the general atmosphere of your bar, so show them what makes you the best choice!
Take the guess work out of where locals will be going for a night out and make it an easy decision for them by posting your specials EVERY DAY. Keep your bar visible and you can bring more customers to your venue.
