Major events for your bar in September

FOOTBALL IS HERE! Whew...the slow days of summer are nearly over. To get ready for the busiest season of the year, here’s a list of the major events for the month of September. Monday, 9/4: Labor Day Promote Labor Day specials all weekend long. Most people will be off on Monday, which means people will be out on Sunday as well. Host a Labor Day celebration with live music and good eats. Monday, 9/11: Patriot Day and National Day of Service & Remembrance In remembrance to those who have fallen and recognition to those who have served in your community. Saturday, 9/16 thru Tuesday 10/3: Oktoberfest Start your Oktoberfest as early as mid-September. Create a special menu during this time catered to a German theme (German beer, pretzels, sausages, etc.). Consider hosting a major Oktoberfest event including live music, food, and dancing. Start promoting this event today! Football season means Bigger Crowds in Your Bar, but don’t forget about the other days of the week! Give your customers reasons to come to your bar all week long.
