Friday, May 4: National Orange Juice Day
National Orange Juice Day calls for mimosas, of course! But instead of creating a mimosa special, why not create a build your own mimosa menu? Buy a few different orange juice flavors and an assortment of fruits. Then create a simple menu for the bar for your customers to order from.
Sunday, May 6: National Lemonade Day
Lemonade is almost synonymous with a sizzling summer day, so make your customers feel it’s already summer and celebrate National Lemonade Day at your bar. Maybe your bar already serves lemonade. If so, try a flavor you’ve never served before! There’s strawberry, raspberry, limeade, peach, etc. And to really make the day feel like summer, top your lemonades with a drink umbrella.
Wednesday, May 9: National Moscato Day
On National Moscato Day, consider making Moscato slushies for a light, refreshing drink! If that’s too much, your customers will appreciate specials on glasses and bottles of Moscato all the same.
Friday, May 25: National Wine Day
The perfect day for the wine obsessed. You can easily create some great deals for your wine selection, but why not try a giveaway? There are so many funny, sassy wine T-shirts out today that one of your customers would love to win. Try a social media or in-house contest.
Wednesday, May 30, National Mint Julep Day
Mint Juleps are the official drink of the Kentucky Derby and though the Derby has come and gone by this point, you can still bring the spirit of the Derby to your bar! Create specials for Mint Juleps, of course, but try having your staff don flamboyant, Derby-esque hats!
If you can’t host all of these days, try one. Your customers will appreciate trying something new and exciting!
